This product is another example that is not compatible. The SuperDrive is not mentioned on the product page at all and I had to discover it's compatibility after purchasing. Careful with 4K MST Displays like Sharp PN-K321 ASUS PQ321Q The 15' Macbook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 supports only two video streams out each side of the machine for 4 total. This means that the Belkin dock can only suppo The 15' Macbook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 supports only two video streams out each side of the machine for 4 total. This means that the Belkin dock can only support two monitors.
More importantly, an MST (multi-stream-transport) display counts as TWO streams because of, well, the multi-stream-transport. This means that if you connect one of these listed monitors to the Belkin dock via a Macbook Pro, it will be the only monitor that works. Or, if you connect some other monitor first, then the MST monitor will not run. I am particularly disappointed to not have this clear from the start, as these two 4K monitors were the first recommended by Apple, and the Sharp version was available in the Apple Store for quite some time and implicitly recommended for operation with Macs. This behavior seems obvious to me now, but I wish it were more obvious before I invested the time.

It works great for me I've no idea what all the negative reviews are about but this product works great with my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018). Its running two Asus VS278Q 27in monitors at 1920x1080 as well as the native display.
One external monitor is connected to the Doc DisplayPort to DisplayPort and the other vis the Docs Thunderbolt port with a Thunderbold to DisplayPort cable. Also connected is an external USP mouse and USB hard drive Working great, stable, does exactly what I expected. Its a tad expensive but I'll take 'just works' over futzing forever with magic settings, etc. More (Read full review).

The power supply is insufficient to power the mac and a poe-device at the same time.
So I have to connect my apple dvd-player directly to my mbp as well! We love the Pliugable brand devices and have had exceptional luck with them. Almost all of the Belkin hubs we have purchased have failed within a few months. Also, they only allow one Monitor, so not even as good as the $100 Plugable that allows for 2 additional monitors.

The Dell display used DisplayPort and the LG display connected to the 2nd Thunderbolt 3 port on the dock. Does not work with the MacBook which only has a single USB-C interface. Be aware, the USB-C interface looks just like Thunderbolt 3, but does not offer the higher capabilities of Thunderbolt 3. This turns out to be the problem with using this dock with the Dell P2715Q and other 4K monitors. I had the same problem with sync on wake up with two lower resolution monitors.
